The HFCo. was alerted at 16:12 hrs. for a vehicle fire in the 400 block of Nazareth Pike. Additional calls to the NC911 reported a vehicle well involved. 5353 (AC Hinkel) arrived on scene confirming the updates and established 53 Command. Engine 5311 responded with staffing of 5. 5311 arrived on scene, crew stretched 150'-1" 3/4 handline from the front bumper and extinguished the fire. Tanker 5331 arrived on scene and supplied 5311. 5311 crew had the fire under control within minutes after arrival. 53 Fire Police assisted with traffic control in the area.
