The HVFCo was dispatched at 0530 on August 16 for a reported vehicle fire on Route 33 at mile marker 5.2. Multiple calls reported a vehicle with with fire showing from the engine compartment on the north bound side of the highway. 5351(Chief Seip) arrived on scene and confirmed the dispatch of a working fire. 5311 responded with staffing of 5 and extinguished the fire with one 1 3/4" handline. Tanker 5331 and Medic 1785 staged on Hecktown Road while 53 Fire Police controled traffic on the highway.
