Three members of the HVFCo#1 recently completed Ropes I at the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center. Lieutenant Cortright, Firefighter Heckler, and Firefighter Knopp attended and completed the 2 day class in which they learned basic rigging and repelling techniques. The highlight of the course was when everyone had to repel down a rope and bypass an obstruction by attaching other ropes to the harness and un-attaching from our main support. Fun was had by all and many new skills were learned.
