The HVFC.#1 was alerted at 2012hrs. for a MVA with unknown injuries. The incident was reported as a head on collision on Newburg Rd between 191 and Country Club Rd. 5353 (AC Hinkel) arrived on scene and established the 53 Command. 5353 confirmed the update of a Head on MVA and updated the location to Newburg Rd east of Gradwohl Switch Rd. 5341 responded with staffing of 7. 5341 arrived on scene, crew assisted EMS, and provided scene safety. 5349 and 5312 assisted with the road closure. EMS transported 2 to the local trauma center.
All units were clear of the scene and the road was reopened within an hour.
