On March 26, 2013 Fire 53 was dispatched at 1859 to a single vehicle MVA on Route 33 North at Mile 6. Initial dispatch reported one vehicle off the road into a tree. Reports from the scene indicated a single patient, self-extricated requiring EMS. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and updated the location to mile 6.7 at the entrance ramp to Route 33 from Route 248. 17 EMS arrived and initiated patient care. The patient was packaged and transported to a local trauma center. 5341 arrived and provided scene safety and assistance with traffic control.
