Vehicle Vs Pole on Newburg Road

Fire Stations 53 and 14 along with EMS 17 were dispatched to Newburg Road in the area of Manor Drive at 07:32 for a reported MVA with a pole and wires down. 5351 responded to the scene and confirmed a single vehicle MVA with one party self extricated. The vehicle sheared the utility pole off and brought down multiple wires resulting in a power outage in the area. Newburg Road was closed and traffic was re-routed around the scene. EMS 17 transported the patient to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
