Engine 5311 was dispatched to 4187 Oakland Rd in Bethlehem Township as part of a first alarm assignment for a working dwelling fire on February 15, 2016, at 09:05 hours. Initial reports indicated a fire on the porch of a single family dwelling. Additional reports by PD indicated a rapidly extending fire with heavy smoke and flames showing from side A of the dwelling. Crews from stations 14 and 17 arrived and quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire. Crews from the first alarm companies assisted with final extinguishment, ventilation, and overhaul.
