Mid Day Truck Fire in Lower Nazareth

At 11:15 hours, the Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 and the Palmer Municipal Fire Department were alerted for a truck fire in the 3800 block of Newburg Road in Lower Nazareth Township. Multiple calls to NC911 reported a working fire with possible extension into a garage. Engine 5311 arrived to find a fully involved farm truck. The crew stretched an 1.75" hand line and began attacking the fire. Rescue Engine 5312, Rescue 5341 and Engine 2711 arrived and their crews assisted at the scene with fire suppression, checking the garage for fire extension, and overhaul. The fire was contained to farm truck.
