The HVFCo was dispatched at 20:42 for a reported MVA with unknown injuries and possible entrapment at mile marker 6.4 on Route 33 South. 5351 (Chief Seip) responded to the scene and was advised by PSP of one patient entrapped and one self-extricated. PSP blocked traffic on the Southbound side allowing EMS 17 and Rescue 5341 (AC Cortright) and Rescue Engine 5312 (FM Boucher) to access the scene from the Route 33 S. exit ramp to 248. Crews from both 53 units secured the scene and extricated the patient. Both patients from the passenger vehicle were transported to a local hospital.
