At 10:32 hours, the Hecktown Vol. Fire Company and Nancy Run Fire Company along with Bethlehem Township Fire Company EMS were alerted for a motor vehicle accident on Steuben Road in the area of Keystone Drive in Lower Nazareth Township. Colonial Regional PD arrived on scene found a Fed Ex box truck into a pole with a pole and wires on the ground. 5352 (AC Hinkel) arrived confirmed the update from PD, requested Lower Nazareth Public Works for road closure, advised the driver was self extricated, and assumed 53 Command. Utility 5344 (Chief Seip) arrived and assisted with traffic on the east side of the scene. Rescue 5341 (Foreman Cortright)) arrived on the scene and crew assisted with scene safety and traffic control. Engine 1411 arrived and assisted with traffic control on Keystone Drive until LNPW arrived. ALS 1783 transported 1 to a local hospital for evaluation. Steuben Road was closed for an extended period of time.
