The HVFCo. was alerted at 12:48 hrs. to assist the Palmer Municial Fire Department (F27) with a Chimney Fire on Southwood Drive. Rescue 5341 responded with staffing of 6. 2751 (Fire Commissioner Grube) established 27 Command and 2752 (Assistant Chief Carr) was assigned Operations. Ladder 2721 arrived on scene and crews were assigned to the Roof Division and Division 1. Engine 2311 arrived on scene and crews were to stage in manpower. Engine 1411 was assigned to the hydrant. Rescue 5341 arrived on scene, crew was assigned to ventilation. 5341 crew under direction of 5355 (Fire Captain Novak) set-up Positive Pressure Ventilation at the front door. The fire was under control within minutes of the Ladder Co. arrival.
