Several members of the apparatus committee made the trip to 4-Guys Fire Apparatus in Meyersdale, PA for the pre-paint inspection of Engine 5311. The members met with the department heads responsible for the work yet to be completed. Equipment placement, the electrical system, plumbing, and paint were all discussed and confirmed with the plant personnel. The trip was very productive, and the committee members were pleased with all of the work completed so far. Fortunately the roads in the area had re-opened after 30+ inches of snow had fallen two days prior to our arrival.
