On Saturday July 9th the Hecktown Vol. Fire Co. #1 participated in the 84th annual Tatamy Firefighters Parade. Engine 5311, Rescue/Engine 5312, Tanker 5331, Rescue 5341, and Utility 5343 headed to Tatamy Borough. After the parade concluded, members got to enjoy the sights, sounds and food of the carnival held on the grounds of the fire company. At 2130hrs. the trophies were awarded. The HFCo.#1 was awarded 1st Place for Firefighters Choice for 5311, 2nd Place for Best Appearing Tanker for 5331 and 2nd Place for Best Appearing Heavy Rescue for 5341. The officers and members of Station 53 would like to thank Tatamy Fire Company again for a great time.
