Members of the Hecktown Fire Company were honored to accept a donation from the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce on Monday evening. The funds were raised at the Pints for a Purpose event at Birthright Brewing in Nazareth. The event was organized by the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce to support the three Nazareth area Fire Companies (Vigilance Hose, Upper Nazareth Fire Department, Hecktown Volunteer Fire Company) and was very well attended. During the event, City Line Construction generously offered to match all of the funds raised that evening. Representatives from the Chamber and City Line Construction were on hand to present the check. City Line also presented the Fire Company with a new battery-powered Sawzall and blades. The members of the Hecktown Fire Company would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Chamber of Commerce, City Line Construction, Birthright Brewing, and all of the other businesses that contributed to the event. We would also like to thank all of the people who attended the event that evening and supported the three local fire departments.
